Jainta Mata festival, little boys masquerade as cows. The plastic cover on his head has a very colorful cow face painted on it. When you die, the myth goes, you hope to be holding on the tail of a cow- because the cow is the mother of all. Some people parade real cows through the streets with marigolds wrapped around their neck, and a red or orange bindi on their forehead. Posted by Picasa
