Thangka painter. Thangkas are traditional Buddhist paintings of specific scenes in Buddhist mythology. There are only around 8 or 9 different scenes but each artist adds his or her own style. The paint is usually made from rocks that have been crushed into powder and then boiled with water and a special glue.
