A plane taking off from the Lukla airport, a village in the Himalayas, you can fly in/out or walk 5-8 days in/out from here, where the trek continues to the famed Everest Base Camp and Kalla Patter. We walked in and flew out. Most people fly both ways, and never see the most difficult part of the trail.
